In March 1928, the company was found to produce special lubricants and metal working fluids within limited amount in spite of technical difficult for conventional manufactures that no one has tried to explore in Japan at that time. We, Sato Special Oil Company has maintain the flexible and liberal system and consolidates the process through development to manufacturing. Keeping friction-engineering point of view, we consistently research develop, produce, and offer new functions added values for our lubricants. Metal working fluids and various oils as an important components, not merely consumed products.

We approach the research and production of special oils from the perspective of friction mechanics and consider all oils, from lubricating to processing types, not as something disposable but as an integral component to the machinery itself. As such, we do not simply sell products but also work to provide functionality and added value.

Since our establishment as a lubricating oil manufacturer in 1928, our company has continued to follow the philosophy of "getting better together." We believe that the profit of our client translates into our own prosperity and have not changed this stance at all in the over 80 years of our product development.
